Standard Plastics Below 65°C

Versatile polyethylene and polypropylene products for general purpose.

Our portfolio of general industrial plastics includes a comprehensive range of semi-finished polyethylene and polypropylene products whose light weight, chemical resistance properties, and low costs make them excellent candidates for use in a wide variety of industrial applications with operating temperatures below 65°C (150°C).

With our material selection expertise, you can find and test the optimal thermoplastic material for your unique application. Our Standard Plastics are available in a range of sizes and formats including rods, tubes, and sheets for machining into a final component.

Engineering Plastics 65ºC to 120ºC
Semi-finished acetal, nylon, polycarbonate, PET, UHMW-PE products and beyond.

Our engineering materials are good candidates to replace traditional materials ranging from bronze to rubber, helping to reduce weight and improve performance, reliability, and safety. They exhibit elevated properties for a broad range of applications and industries, including high mechanical strength, good machinability, electrical and chemical resistance, and consistence performance over a broad temperature range.

Many of these products are also physiologically inert, making them strong candidates for food contact applications, per FDA approval.

Improve your application with engineering plastics and our end-to-end support. This portfolio is available in plastic stock shapes including tubes, rods, and sheets, along with custom machining.
Advanced Plastics 120ºC to 230ºC
High-performance PEI, PEEK, PTFE, PPS, electrostatic dissipative plastics, and more.

This suite of engineering-grade plastics gives you the opportunity to find and test the best material solutions for your unique application. Advanced engineering materials exhibit high mechanical strength and stiffness over an elevated temperature range, with predictable performance even in heat as high as 230°C (450°F).

These semi-finished thermoplastic products also exhibit excellent dimensional stability and creep resistance, superior electrical characteristics (including insulating and dielectric properties), and some of the broadest chemical resistance of all advanced engineering polymers. They are excellent candidates for applications with very specific demands – such as analytical instrumentation, medical devices, and semiconductor process equipment components. Our offering includes availability in plastic stock shapes, as well as Near Net Shapes.
Extreme (Imidized Plastics 230ºC to 425ºC)
Semi-finished PI, PAI, and PBI products for extreme heat and demanding operating environments.

Our extreme / imidized materials are used in industries ranging from semiconductors to energy generation, providing superior thermal resistance and reliability across a broad temperature range up to 425°C. Other properties include low friction, high mechanical strength, extreme wear resistance, and greater impact resistance than most other advanced thermoplastics.

This portfolio includes the highest-performing engineering thermoplastic available today: Duratron® PBI. This suite of products gives you exceptional properties in temperature resistance and performance.

If your application involves extreme temperatures, vacuum chambers, high voltage, and more, these offerings can help solve your toughest challenges in aerospace, transportation, semiconductor, and other demanding industries. Plus, we provide both standard stock shapes and direct forming capabilities to meet your precise requirements.
