Multiwall polycarbonate sheets

Factory-direct multiwall PC sheets for greenhouses, skylights, roofing, daylighting walls and protected exterior glazing. Hamakyu supplies twinwall, triple-wall and multi-layer structures with UV protection, anti-drip options, color matching and cut-to-size support.

  • Twinwall sheet (2W): lightweight and economical for small greenhouses, covers, partitions and daylighting panels.
  • Triple-wall sheet (3W): better stiffness and insulation than twinwall for larger spans and more demanding roofing layouts.
  • X-structure / multi-layer (X): used when the project needs higher rigidity, lower heat transfer and improved load resistance.
  • UV and anti-drip options: UV co-extrusion protects outdoor sheets; anti-drip coating helps greenhouse condensation run down instead of dripping onto crops.

Thermal insulation, light transmission and anti-drip options

Multiwall sheets are chosen when a project needs a balance between daylight, impact resistance and thermal performance. For greenhouses, anti-drip treatment and UV direction matter. For skylights and roofing, the buyer should also confirm wind load, support spacing, minimum bend radius and edge sealing.

• Light transmission: clear, opal, bronze or custom color (controls daylight, glare, privacy and heat gain).

• Thermal performance: thickness and wall structure (more layers usually improve insulation and stiffness).

• Outdoor durability: UV side, warranty scope and installation direction (wrong UV orientation can shorten service life).

• Condensation control: anti-drip coating for agriculture (helps reduce water droplets in greenhouse projects).

• Installation: H/U profiles, aluminum connectors, sealing tape (open hollow chambers need clean edge protection and drainage).

SPECIFICATION

Twin-wall (4mm-10mm): Garden greenhouses, small covers, carports, partitions and light-duty daylighting panels.    High light transmission and cost-effective sheet weight; confirm support spacing for roof use.

Triple-wall / four-wall (10mm-16mm): Greenhouse roofs, skylights, covered walkways, canopies and medium-span roofing.    Better stiffness and insulation than twinwall while keeping panels light enough for easy installation.

X-structure / honeycomb (16mm-25mm+: Heavy-duty architectural roofing, commercial skylights, facades and projects needing higher load-bearing capacity.    Used when the project needs superior insulation, rigidity and longer-span performance.
