Features of SOS Chain
Oil impregnation is not needed.
* Clean operating environment can be maintained without contaminating the unit through oil impregnation. (*1)(*2)
* Since NSF-H1 registered lubrication oil (applicable to any location where accidental contacts with foods are expected) is used, the chain can be safely used for food processing machinery. Products with industrial lubrication oil impregnated are also available. This chain is compatible with standard roller chains and accepts standard attachments.
* Standard sprockets can be used for a multiple strand chain as well as a single strand chain.
* The chain itself can be used in a low to high temperature range (-20ﾟC to 400ﾟC). (*3)
Note:
*1. Unless there are some problems in the use of stainless steel chain, lubricate it before using it.
*2. Do not use under complete oil-free condition.
*3. To bring out the best performance of its oil-impregnated bush, use this chain in the temperature range of -10ﾟC to 250ﾟC.
*The bush may wear out rapidly in a dusty environment. In addition, water splashing environment and higher temperatures make oil distill more easily from the oil-impregnated bush and reduce its life.

- Use this chain at the chain velocity of 150m/min or lower.
