Nylatron® 101 Polyamide PA66 FG / Ertalon® 66 SA Polyamide PA66 FG are unmodified, food grade shapes characterized by their superior combination of strength and toughness. Compared to other unmodified nylons, components from this grade possess superior mechanical strength, stiffness, and wear resistance, as well as one of the highest melting points of all PA66 materials. Due to these properties, and this grade’s FDA (21 CFR § 177.1500) and EU 10/2011 food compliancy, this PA66 material is often specified for screw machined electrical insulators, bushings, bearings, gears, roller wheels, star wheels, and seals.
